Airman school Norman, Oklahoma - AB "A" school Philadelphia - USS Princeton for 19 months - Airman school in Norman, again, as an ABU-3 - AT "A" school Memphis, Sept. 58 to July 59, VF-101 Key West Florida, then moved with VF-101 Det. "A" to Oceana Va. until Sept. 62 - Then AEWTULANT as a student at Pax River FFT to VW-13 Flight Tech, Argentia, NFLD and Keflavik, Iceland - Next AEWBARRONPAC Flight Tech, Barbers Point and Midway Island until Barrier squadrons closed down, Then Patron 31, P5M student for 4 months, Patron 48 as mad/rad/sniffer - Back to North Island , VC-3 as DP2-E Radio operator - then back to the East Coast and Patron 30 Pax River as P3 student FFT to VP-44 Pax River as Flight Tech for 4 months, Trans to VP-8 Pax River as flight tech, move to Brunswick with VP-8, became flight communications operator, retired in November 1974. Returned home to San Diego, moved to Redondo Beach, CA Ran fishing boats, whale watch boats, harbor cruise boats, Able Bodied seaman (W) on tankers, 5 years with MSC on fast stores and tank ships, Mate on tugs, owned a burial at sea business FINALLY retired and Now live in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, about 20 minutes outside Tulsa.
